As been told, before mixing you must create preset-files for audio files. When you make file-preset, in folder with audio file will formed file with same name as audio file, but with .txt extension. This .txt file is file-preset. In general, preset-file contains:

If preset-file for audio file already exist, then, after loading file, coorection block will recall settings from preset-file, and equalizer will switch in 9-band mode. If preset-file for audio file does not exist, then, after loading file, volume control does not resets and equalizer will switch to 5-band mode and resets like click on [4] (i.e. resets all even bands of equalizer to average value between odd bands). It is made for convenience of creation of preset-files. When program work in "creating preset-files" mode (hp1, hp2), then she does not respond to speed manipulation from without_MIDI window. In this mode you can change speed from [6]. In window [6] displays speed in percents. When you create preset-files, then it is convenient to have Max/MSP DJ Stuff and Foobar windows as shown in figure:
Preset-file for audio file must be locate at the same place as audio file. If as a result of inaccurate manipulations with files (copying, moving, renaming) you have suspicions that some preset-files were lost, then you can try use search function. For this purpose, select all doubtful files in Foobar playlist and drag them to window [4]. program will check existense of preset-files for these audio files. If in a folder with the given audio file corresponding for him preset-file is not present, then program will know about it. You can see the result by double click on object [3]. In window, that appears, you'll see the full path names of all audio files what does not have our preset-files. You can save the result as m3u-plylist by clicking on [2] - in buffer-folder you can find lost preset.m3u. By clicking on [1] you can clear the memory of object [3]. |
