Download: foobar2000.zip (1.3 MB)

The Foobar does not need installation, simply place a folder with the Foobar in any convenient place. Run a player (foobar2000.exe) and in his preference choose a desirable output on your sound card. For this purpose press Ctrl+P and go in Playback ==> Output ==> DirectSound. Choose the 1st and 2nd outputs to prevent the divergences with the subsequent story. Buffer length parameter should be small as possible. If at decreasing of Buffer length will be distortions of a sound, then increase it to remove distortions.

As already been told, before loading of an audio file in Max/MSP DJ Stuff, it is necessary to convert it in a wav-format. For this purpose click on "Run convertion" item in context menu of foobar's playlist. By default convertible files will be formed in folder C:/buffer. Create this folder. Immediately after loadings converted files in Max/MSP DJ Stuff it will automatically remove from a buffer-folder, thus, you do not need to remove this files manually. But, despite of it, take care that disk C:/ have enough empty space for this. You can choose another buffer-folder (in section Diskwriter of preference window - Ctrl+P), but in this case you must specify the same folder in corresponding settings of Max/MSP DJ Stuff.
